This project is part of UPSTATE ART WEEKEND, July 17-21
Reception: July 19, 5-6:30pm with a performance at 6:30pm in conjunction with the Goudy Wildlife Club.

TINKUY is a sonic journey through Earth's evolution, reflecting a time when humanity has deeply interfered with the planet's balance. Koyoltzintli’s handmade ceramic sound objects, meticulously reconstructed based on pre-Columbian sonic artifacts, are featured in an exhibition that emerges from a live performance of the same title. A video installation of the performance is on view with her ceramics and other works.
The artist is offering a class for adults and youth 16 and up : Clay Instrument Making on June 28th from 10-1pm in Beacon, NY. Registration details here.

Feel Recordings In The River Field: A Poetry Performance
This performance intermingles poetry with live music and recorded sounds to explore the climate's impact upon us. Joining Edwin Torres will be musicians; Sean G.
